Our Experience and Passion

Freedom Hair was established in 2000 by Irving Miskell-Reid and Mary Forbes. Irving and Mary each have over 40 years of passion and experience in the industry. Hairdressing by its very nature is ever-changing, with constant reinvention of past trends and the creation of new. Irving, Mary and the team are continually developing their knowledge and understanding of new techniques and technologies. We will always consider you, the individual, when creating your hairstyle and we will strive to give you a style that you can look after at home.

At Freedom we understand that a haircut can make a big difference in your daily life. It shouldn't just be 'trendy' but reflect your personality every day. A great hair design begins with you. Before cutting your hair we will spend time getting to know you and what you want us to achieve together. We are direct and friendly - and we know what what works. We know how to give a fashionable edge to classic hairdressing.

Our Team

At Freedom we all work together to build a salon to be proud to work in. All members of the Freedom team, no matter at what level in their hairdressing career, aim to give you a professional, yet enjoyable experience. All team members are part of a continual training process to ensure the hight standard of haidressing and haircare to our clients.

Model interviews were held at the DCA, on Thurs 24th Nov 2011. The event including some of the model & judge interviews will be on The Dundee Channel.
